The Wiltshire Hotel, Golf & Leisure

The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. Good clean Rooms , Nothings was too much trouble, and they made us feel so welcome and the convenient location and outstanding service make this my new go-to spot.

**NO PLUG SOCKETS NEXT TO BED** I enjoyed my time here, the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. There was an ample amount of parking right outside the hotel. The hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC as it is dated but the facilities make up for that. There is a new spa and sauna currently being built and I fully utilised the indoor swimming pool daily. Beautiful view onto the golf course but can't comment on the course itself as I didn't use it. There is a cafe/diner which has recently been updated and and appropriate food family and business events. The food was adequate but nicely presented. Quite pricey in my opinion.

This is a friendly, down to earth hotel with lovely facilities with beautiful, calm surroundings. We've brought our baby and toddler here more than once because the staff are friendly and happy to accommodate the little ones, despite the main clientele being golfers. The rooms are large enough to fit travel cots and access to the pool (including a shallow toddler bit) makes it a surprisingly lovely place to take a young family. The staff go out of their way to help and resolve any issues and we've had really great breakfasts and evening meals in the bar too! We've always felt really welcome here and would definitely come for yet another visit!

Arrived with the smell of fresh cut grass which is always good. Service very good, evening meal good. Room good but missing TV remote which I had to ask for. Happily stay here again.

Hotel itself is in need of a bit of TLC, however leisure facilities are fantastic all refurbished, nice for a couple of hours relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. We were also given an upgrade from standard room to a suite, which was massive.

Once you stop following the sat nav and follow the map it's really easy to find. The receptionist was really nice ,polite and helpful. Our room was large , with a good size TV, tea and coffee making facilities and the bed was comfortable . Bonus ! The pool which is included in the price was large and remarkably empty along with the steam room, the sauna was unfortunately not in action but that really was little issue. The restaurant and bar were quite large and the service was pleasant, the prices were not to unreasonable either. However there were only about a dozen couples there at the time . Some of the Google reviews were a bit harsh I feel when considering the cost of the room. I would use this place again if I'm in the area.

If you are into golfing then this is the place for you. For weekend getaways it was slightly disappointing. The steam room was closed, the sauna wasn't working and there were no loungers to relax in. That said the pool is a good size and the jacuzzi was fine. The bat is well stocked so had a good time there with lots of comfortable seating :-) Food was also good. Very tasty dinner and ample choice for breakfast (hot/cold/English Breakfast.etc.)

The hotel is in need of TLC. The room was spacious if basic. The spa area could be amazing but there are broken tiles around the pool and the changing room is not particularly pleasant. The restaurant is pretty good if somewhat limited. Nice breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This could be something really special with some investment.
